With the upcoming tramsition to all IP based technologies in the telecommunications sector, many systems like ISDN may run out of service and need to be replaced by VoIP (Voice-over-IP) devices. As an alternative we offer the fitting Open Source VoIP Integrations, inlcuding high-availability solutions, so that you can stay in control over your communication infrastructur.
A production facility has been equipped with feed-through scales from a well-known manufacturer, which provide cross-linked data on quantity, average weights and others to a SQL database and the manufacturer's application software. In order for our customer to be able to use the entire system without fear, we developed an isolated IP network for him, to ensure a good shielding of the production process to the outside world. When purchasing hardware, such as servers, routers and switches, we are always happy to advise you.
Fieldbuses are very frequently used in production lines and serve to connect (PLC) devices with each other, but also for data acquisition. There are numerous bus systems, the most well-known being the serial PROFIBUS, the IP-based PROFINET, CAN, MODBUS / RTC, MODBUS / TCP, just to name a few. PROFINET provides a data and control bus based on PROFIBUS, which can also be easily connected to MPCs (Multi Purpose Computer) using the IP stack on a conventional network infrastructure. This results in numerous new control and data collection options as well as IT security risks. We are happy to help you with the safe installation of your bus system!
For energy efficiency certification and to identify their own potential for improvement, we have set up an energy database for one of our customers that uses BI tools (Business Intelligence) to provide information about the company's energy consumption. The data is collected from production lines via the fieldbus system (see Fieldbuses - PROFIBUS / PROFINET). Data analysts and technicians are now able to use this data to obtain certificates of high economic value.
